Rice Husk Collection
100% natural - for your little ones to have fun at meal times!
What is Rice Husk Fiber?
The perfect alternative to bamboo tableware, the Husks Baby collection is made from natural rice husks, which would otherwise be burned or discarded. Rice husk is an agricultural waste, a common practice in many countries is burning the rice husk in the fields after harvest, emitting large amount of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide, silicon dioxide and inhalable particles into the air we breathe and contributes to the global warming effect, Instead of disposing rice husks as agricultural waste, we use this material to manufacture new products like dinnerware, kitchenware, coffee cups, and is especially safe for baby products too.
Once used, plastic food containers or food boxes will be thrown away and end up in landfills. These materials take up to a thousand years to biodegrade in the natural environment, but our dinnerware made of natural husk are durable and can be reused for years due to the fact that our dinner sets contain 80% husk and 20% starch (100% natural material) and completely free of any chemical additives!!! It is completely biodegradable (around 90 days) from the day it ends up in a landfill after completing its life cycle. Because they break down cleanly when buried, the rice husk fiber even makes them great for composting.
These creative Rice Husk Sets make impeccable gifts for any parent! Both microwave & dishwasher safe! And lots of fun too!
